DRUG MISUSE PREVENTION AND REHABILITATION PROGRAMME

This programme focuses on promoting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle among individuals and communities through prevention, education, rehabilitation, and reintegration initiatives. DL-Aid recognises that substance misuse is both a public health and social concern that affects individuals, families, and the broader society. Accordingly, the programme works to reduce the incidence and impact of drug misuse through awareness campaigns, community sensitisation, and partnerships with schools, religious institutions, and health agencies.

In addition to preventive education, the programme provides counselling, rehabilitation support, and reintegration assistance to affected individuals, helping them recover and rebuild productive lives. It also advocates for strengthened community-based systems and policies that support prevention and rehabilitation efforts nationwide.
